WHAT IS Park GoLf?

Park Golf started in Makubetsucho in Hokkaido in 1983. It is a game that people started playing in parks (as very few people were playing in parks), so it was named Park Golf.

Nippon Park Golf Association maintains unification over all park golf in Japan. It promotes park golf as healthy development of the mind and body, and a lifelong sport. It is keen to promote park golf to all corners of the world.

We are delighted to have discovered park golf and very proud to be an affiliated member of Nippon Park Golf Association, whose values we share. We join fellow ‘Parkers’ (people who play park golf) in Brazil, Paraguay, Sweden and the USA.

In bringing the game to Scotland, we're calling it Park Gowf, to give the game a distinctive Scottish flavour, with Fife Golf Trust's 2019 course being named the ‘Hame of Park Gowf’.
